China has noticed a slew of recent assaults at colleges. Many have been blamed on private grudges or people with psychiatric complications:
_ May perhaps 12, the year 2010: A guy hacks seven youngsters and a single teacher to dying in a kindergarten in Hanzhong city in Shaanxi province. He then kills himself.
_ April 30, the year 2010: A farmer attacks and wounds five kindergarten college students which has a hammer in Shandong province’s Weifang town previous to burning himself to dying. The person also strikes a teacher. None in the youngsters has life-threatening injuries.
_ April 29, the year 2010: A 47-year-old unemployed person attacks 4-year-olds in the kindergarten in Jiangsu province, wounding 29 of them. Two teachers along with a protection guard are also hurt.

_ May perhaps 24, 2006: Yang Xinlong hacks a neighbor to death in the village of Luoying in central China’s Henan province, then requires 19 elementary school college students hostage and kills a person. Police shoot him when he refuses to surrender.
_ Nov. 25, 2004: Yan Yiming, 21, breaks right into a Chinese high university dormitory and stabs nine boys to death in Ruzhou, Henan province. Yan’s mother turns him in to police immediately after he attempts suicide around the day following the strike. He is executed two months later.
_ Aug. four, 2004: Xu Heping, 51, a part-time gatekeeper with a Beijing kindergarten kills a person student and slashes 14 other people and 3 teachers. Xu had a history of schizophrenia. The strike, around the compound in which President Hu Jintao and other Chinese leaders live and function, prompted the government to boost security at educational institutions nationwide.
